Corporate on a budget
The brief was to turn a run down disused engineering works into a modern corporate business centre with meeting room facilities, coffee/breakout area with plenty of parking but on a very tight budget.
Solution
The initial problem was the look of the exterior of the building. Half of the building was covered in sun bleached metal cladding. The windows were falling apart and the gardens and trees in the car-park overgrown. We tackled this by electrostatic-ally spraying the building in graphite to give it an immediate modern face lift. We fitted new aluminum windows with grey tinted anti sun glass. With modern lighting to the exterior, a great deal of landscaping and new car-park markings, the exterior transformation had taken place.
The interior hadn't been used in a number of years and needed stripping out completely. We divided the space into new suites with glazed fronted partitioning. Each suite has individual heating/air-conditioning units with shared building condensers and PIR lighting.
A brand new coffee & breakout area with funky furniture and fully fitted kitchenette, luxury washrooms with full height real stone walls and walnut cubicles and slate floors. Shop with electrical shutter and the building was completely rewired with power and data throughout.
The result was an amazing space which looks fantastic but didn't cost the earth.
