The Brief: To refurbish the tired reception area into a bright usable space with an informal meeting area and modern lighting.

International House in Ashford was a multi-tenanted building with a tired reception area that didn't help attracting new companies into the building.

KLC have refurbished the reception area out of hours over the course of a three week period, creating a more modern, bright and vibrant space that can used for meeting and greeting clients as well as incorporating an informal meeting area.

Part of the problem with the existing reception was the lighting. The reception was large in size but dark and tired. KLC introduced feature lighting in the form of a dropped ceiling raft detail and spot lighting to the perimeters to ensure there were no dark corners.

All the light fittings are low energy fittings with long life lamps to ensure that International House not only looks good but green too.
