Architects and designers have been using light for many years now to help show off their buildings and spaces and it's easy to see why. Any space can be lit to create amazing effects, whether it's back lighting ceiling details, or up lighting building decals, lighting will always be the best way to show off your space.
KLC have a dedicated office lighting designer who advises on energy efficiency within the workplace through the use of correct lighting, ensures all of the office lighting plans are lit to the recommended lux levels and ensure that the correct placement of emergency fittings are used where necessary.
We operate under the WEE Directive brought into practice in 2007. All lamps supplied by KLC can be returned to us free of charge for recycling. This will be on a one-for-one basis, as long as the new equipment is of a similar type and has the same function as the old equipment
An energy efficient office can use 25% less energy and a large percentage of this is made up from the use of correct energy efficient lighting. Did you know that just by swapping your 65mm low voltage halogen spotlights to more efficient compact recessed florescent fittings, you could start saving 80% less energy and your lamp life will increase from around 3k hours to 12k hours saving you time and money on replacing lamps.
Energy efficient lighting fittings don't have to look any different or cost any more than the fittings you use now. Why not get in touch and we can talk you through what's available on the market and show you some samples.
